Mr Alphie and I have now made the move to Perth, and live in an inner northern suburb (what a change from leafy old Helensburgh!). I'm still working in Perth, while Mr Alphie is one of the many fly-in/fly-out workers in WA. He spends 9 days of every fortnight away from home, working in the Pilbara.
We are now trying out as many restaurants as possible in Perth and surrounds, and I'm still cooking up a storm every weekend, and Mr Alphie still does the dishes whenever he's home.
